this is my take on an axworthy ghost system, standard sewing machine motor, linked to bicycle rims with a section of serpentine belt, and the bike rims with 150# braided green fishing line, the rims are from used small kids bikes from a used bike store, and the ghost is home made with a foam skull, coat hangers and spray foam insulation.

US $.99

If I were a kid, that thing would make me turn and run! Very eerie.
The Ghost stays straight due to the drag of all the tendrils hanging from him, the line is 150lb test braided fishing line…..no stretch, a lot of strength, ghost weighs about 3-4 lbs….just foam skull, drop cloth and some coat hangers.
I like this ghost…. one of the best ones I have seen so far. I want to build one next year for Halloween. How to you get him to stay facing forward so well? Also, what kind of line are you using to support a ghost of that size? It looks like it would weigh quite a bit???
Thanks for posting this video.
Looks awesome! It’s gonna be so freaky in the dark!
