I'm so tired, i don't even have the strength to put the "so" in all caps.
Valve caps do NOT keep air in your tires…they prevent dirt from getting into the valve just below them. If the valves are still good, you will not lose air. It is a good idea to have caps on the valve stems to keep the valves clean.
The valve caps main purpose is o keep dirt/debris out of the valve stem. if the valve inside were to leak due to not being tight or dirt holding it open the cap may prevent leaks. but if you refill that tire once a week, the dirt would have been forced in. replace the cap and see what happens. check the tire and valve stem with soapy water to help find the leak.
Right at the Dollar Tree or $.99 store they have a plastic form that snaps over & inside of the cap, then wash it in the washing machine and hang to dry before removing the plastic form. And it will be good as new.

They overfill the dampner excess goes into the bladder when the bladder is full is closes the valve between the bladder and the dampner and then you have a fully working dampner and something else that adjusts the height.< or the bladder is sitting under the fuel tank and as the fuel burns off, the bladder takes more out of the damper
